Preamble

Estimated Contract Period: October 9, 2007 – October 8, 2010.
The services period may be up to, but not exceed, thirty-six (36) months, with an estimated 150 work hours per month.

Experience

- At least three years experience programming in ADABAS/Natural/Construct
- At least three years experience in identifying, documenting, and developing business requirements and technical specifications
- Experience in or knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including the Rational Unified Process
- Experience in the development of test plans, scripts, and execution checklists
- Experience in executing unit and system integration testing

Scope of Work Summary

Under direction of the Project Manager or designee, primary responsibilities include the following:
- Follow the full system development lifecycle methodology in developing quality solutions to meet customer needs
- Under general direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives
- Work at high technical level on all phases of application system analysis and programming activity
- Work with customers to identify and document business requirements
- Perform analysis to determine system and performance impact
- Develop or modify external business specifications
- Develop technical specifications, detailed test plans, test scripts, and test execution checklists
- Construct code to meet external and internal specifications
- Conduct unit and system integration testing
- Prepare release documents
- Participate in quality assurance peer reviews of business requirements, business and technical specifications, test documentation, and code
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
- May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project
- May be responsible for leading a technical team
