Under the direction of the BOE Application Development Manager, the ASP Programmer Analyst will update current IRIS modules and documentation in order to provide new functionality as identified in the ASP Update requirements. The Programmer Analyst will also perform maintenance and testing of current IRIS modules and documentation, as needed, in order to resolve other system problems.

B. Contractor Required Skills:

1. Minimum of five (5) years experience with Adabas/Natural programming in a mainframe/CICS environment.
2. Minimum of two (2) years experience developing systems using Natural Construct.
3. Demonstrated experience with JCL.
4. Understanding of Object Oriented Design principles and methodologies.
5. Formal testing experience.
6. Strong documentation and written communication skills.
7. Familiarity with full suite of Microsoft Office tools.
8. Ability to work with both business and technical staff in a team environment.

C. Contractor Desired Skills:

1. Familiarity with BOE’s IRIS.
2. Familiarity with BOE’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
3. Familiarity with IEEE standard documentation.
4. Familiarity with large-scale taxation systems.
5. Familiarity with EntireX Communicator.
6. Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
